What carriers can expect from the impending legalization of marijuana and the impact on employers. |
Dave has expert knowledge about regulations to do with substance use, testing and treatment, and rehabilitation from an employer’s perspective. His talk includes a history of the public acceptance and regulation of alcohol, to provide some perspective on legal marijuana, measuring “impairment,” the legislative process and outcomes.
Dave joined BCTA on January 8, 2018. He was previously Vice President, Government Relations and HR Services for the Construction Labour Relations Association of BC. His experience in the construction industry includes service as Employer Co-Chair of the Program Administration Committee for the BC Construction Industry Substance Abuse, Testing and Treatment Program and Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Construction Industry Rehabilitation Program.
