BCTA is proud to announce that the joint efforts of the BCTA-BC Ferries Task Force have resulted in a pilot late night commercial sailing on Tsawwassen – Duke Point route from September 7 to October 7, 2021. This is in direct response to the Task Force’s short-term request that consideration be given to adding commercial-only sailings (e.g. late evening/early morning).

Commercial Sailing Details are as follows:

  • Duration: September 7 to October 7, 2021, Monday-Thursday
  • Route: Tsawwassen – Duke Point
  • Departure Times:  2115 departure from Tsawwassen / 0015 departure from Duke Point
  • Arrival Times: 2315 arrival at Duke Point / 0215 arrival at Tsawwassen

Reservations are highly encouraged as the Cargo License has a maximum capacity of 80 passengers. Commercial carriers/drivers seeking to make a reservation, or amend an existing reservation, should call 1-888-BC FERRY, press “6” and then press “1” to streamline access to the first available BC Ferries Key Accounts Representative.

BCTA is extremely pleased that our work with BC Ferris has resulted in progress based on the Task Force’s feedback and applauds BC Ferries for promoting the efficient movement of goods and supporting commercial carriers.
