A reminder to everyone that the third offering of the CleanBC Heavy-duty Vehicle Efficiency (HDVE) Program is now open- apply for incentives of up to 50% for fuel-saving technology. Unlike previous offerings, this year’s CleanBC HDVE Program funds are being distributed on a first come, first serve basis until the funds are fully allocated or until the program deadline on March 31, 2022, whichever comes first- so don’t wait to apply!

CleanBC HDVE Program Course

Applicants must also successfully complete the free, pre-requisite CleanBC HDVE Program Course that describes the benefits of using different fuel-saving technologies and practices. This half-day webinar teaches participants how to develop a Fuel-Management Program for any size fleet, incorporating measures to improve fuel economy. The course also demonstrates how to develop a baseline of fuel consumption and track progress as part of the company’s program. Companies are welcome to register more than one person for the course.

The next online course offerings are on October 12, October 19, or October 26- click here to register.

CleanBC HDVE Program Incentives

Upon successful completion of the HDVE Program course, participants are eligible to apply for CleanBC HDVE Program Incentives, featuring rebates on the purchase and installation of qualifying fuel-efficiency equipment- up to $15,000 per vehicle and $100,000 per fleet.

See the full list of approved equipment and fuel-efficient driver training here.

To be eligible for program incentives, BCTA membership is not required. Companies must meet the eligibility criteria that are available in the HDVE Program Guide.
