BCTA is happy to announce that the joint efforts of the BCTA-BC Ferries Task Force have resulted in a Commercial Saver Fare pilot on select sailings from June 15 – October 12. Commercial customers can save 33% off their fares by booking and paying in advance on sailings on the Vancouver (Tsawwassen) - Victoria (Swartz Bay) and the Vancouver (Tsawwassen) - Nanaimo (Duke Point) routes.

Those members who have the flexibility to travel during less busy sailing times and want travel certainty are encouraged to utilize this program and book in advance as saver fare availability is limited on select sailings and these fares are expected to sell out.

The pilot program, combined with the addition of a coastal class vessel to Route 30, is designed to make commercial transportation of goods on the busiest routes (Route 1 and 30) more efficient for our sector during the peak summer period. BCTA will review the effectiveness of the Program with BC Ferries in October.

When booking, look for the Saver tag on the top right-hand side of sailings; payment must be made via

credit card (VISA/MasterCard or American Express) at the time of booking. No deferred payment or TC

is accepted at this time.

To learn more or to take advantage of the savings, visit the BC Ferries website beginning June 15.
