We are saddened by the passing of John Cormier on May 28, 2022.

John was a long and dedicated supporter of BCTA, serving on our Board of Directors from 2016 to 2020. John was also a graduate of the Next Generation Leadership Program and served on many BCTA committees throughout his career. He stepped up and offered input, insight and assistance, and made sure to participate in as many BCTA events as possible.

A Celebration of John’s life took place in Anglemont at the Lakeview Community Centre on June 4. BCTA would like to express our sympathy to John’s family, friends, and colleagues at ’Styel̓ép Services Inc. We are humbled by and grateful for his long-term support for the association and our industry.
