As part of the Highway 91/17 Upgrade Project, a temporary truck parking lot at 10008-10022 River Road has been available for commercial vehicles. Following the recent opening of the new interchange at Highway 91C and Nordel Way to traffic, access will be restored to the Nordel Way Truck Parking Area as of July 31, 2022.

 What to expect:  

  • Starting July 31, 2022, vehicles will be able to access the Nordel Way Truck Parking Area. Please see location details in map below. 
  • Vehicles that have previously used the temporary truck parking area at 10008-10022 River Road will no longer have access to this location as of August 1, 2022. 
  • Restroom facilities will be available at the truck parking area. 
  • Signage will be in place to direct truck parking area users from the Highway 91C and Nordel Way Interchange.

    There will also be construction on both of the Highway 91 southbound offramps to access Nordel Way (west and east). In order to safely complete this work, the following roadway changes will be required.  

     What to expect:  

  • Temporary full closure of both Highway 91 southbound offramps to Nordel Way (west and east) is expected to take place from 10 pm on August 19 to 5 am on August 20, 2022 
  • A detour route for all vehicles will be in effect. Traffic heading southbound on Highway 91 will be directed to exit at 64 Avenue, loop back to access Highway 91 northbound, and continue to the exits for either Nordel Way westbound or eastbound

  • There will be additional signs in place prior to the closure to inform drivers about this traffic pattern change
