The BCTA family continues to grow! BCTA has two new additions to the team- Samira Hosseina and Manuel Ekpini, Policy Analysts will continue to support the association’s policy development and government advocacy on behalf of BCTA members and the industry at large.

Samira’s professional experience spans over a decade working in both the private and non-profit sectors. She has completed her master’s degree in Public Policy and Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia specializing in social and economic development and policy evaluation. 

Manuel’s background includes politics, diplomacy, transnational threats and counterterrorism, and insurance. Fluent in French and Spanish, he has worked with various non-governmental organizations and inter-governmental organizations to address the humanitarian crisis in the central African Republic.
