Starting April 17, weekday and weekend traffic pattern changes will be implemented on Columbia Street between McBride Boulevard and Elliot Street for the Pattullo Bridge Replacement Project. This work will take approximately five weeks.

On some weeknights (Monday to Friday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.), and some weekends (from 9 p.m. Friday to Monday at 5 a.m.), Columbia will be closed in both directions, including the closure of the Columbia Street on-ramp to the Pattullo Bridge. During these closures, trucks travelling to Surrey after 9pm are encouraged to use the Port Mann Bridge, or use the Queensborough and Alex Fraser Bridges as shown below.

Columbia Street is scheduled to be closed in both directions on Thursday, April 20 at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. (there will be road signage to support this) and then a full weekend closure on Friday, April 21 at 9 p.m. until Monday, April 24 at 5 a.m.
