MELT Information Update
This free one-hour online information session will provide participants with an update of BCTA's MELT Grant Program.
The need for drivers continues to place immense operational pressures on commercial trucking companies to transport goods safely and efficiently to consumers. The BC Trucking Association’s Mandatory Entry Level Training (MELT) Grant Program provides funding to eligible British Columbians who want to improve their skills or pursue a career in the transportation sector by becoming Professional Class 1 Drivers.
Please join BCTA Policy Analyst Samira Hosseina online on Thursday, May 25th at 9:30am to learn more about the recent updates and improvements made to the grant program to make it easier than ever for members to participate. During the info session, Samira will outline the recent changes that were implemented to streamline the application process, reduce barriers to entry, and increase the number of successful grant applications. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A period.
