The DriveBC website is undergoing a significant revamp, and public feedback is being sought on the proposed improvements.

For years, DriveBC has been an essential tool for drivers planning their trips, providing the latest information on road incidents, construction, maintenance, and access to highway webcams. The redesigned website aims to be more user-friendly, reliable, and personalized.

Key features of the new website will include a simplified map and interface. Users will benefit from clearer event notifications and new advisory features. The upgraded route planning tool will deliver focused information about specific trips, and there will be an increased emphasis on the mobile experience, reflecting the way most users access the site.

A link on the current DriveBC site will direct users to the test version of the new site, where a survey is available for feedback. This input will be crucial in helping designers streamline and modernize BC’s main source of highway condition information.

During the development phase of the new test site, drivers are advised to continue using the existing DriveBC site for travel planning. To explore the new test site and participate in the survey, click here.
