Mercer Distribution Services has announced its resignation as the Blaine Centralized Examination Station (CES) Operator, effective June 22, 2024. Following this, Border Cargo Services will take over as the Blaine CES Operator starting June 23, 2024.

Border Cargo Services has been confirmed to meet all the minimum requirement standards set by DHS CBP Policy and Regulation, ensuring a seamless transition and continued adherence to regulatory standards. For further details, please reference the Trade Information Notice Number: 2024-03.

This transition marks an important change for the Area Port of Blaine, and stakeholders are advised to update their records accordingly. Both Mercer Distribution Services and Border Cargo Services are working closely to ensure a smooth handover and minimal disruption to operations.
