Construction for the Surrey Langley SkyTrain is underway on Fraser Highway between 162 Street and 164 Street, with traffic pattern changes set to begin on November 14, 2024, lasting approximately one month. Vehicle travel lanes in the area will shift south via a median crossover and will be reduced to single lanes in both directions, westbound and eastbound. The posted speed limit will decrease from 60 km/h to 50 km/h to ensure safety. Construction work will occur Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., while traffic pattern changes will remain in effect 24/7. Businesses along Fraser Highway will remain accessible, with existing access points on 84 Avenue being maintained. Drivers are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly and use caution while traveling through the construction zone.
