Stay up to date
We stay on top of relevant industry news, requirements, products and training offerings and share with our members through:
- The Bulletin: Our member newsletter, published bi-weekly most of the year, reports on BCTA initiatives as well as new or changing federal and provincial regulations, cross-border security issues, requirements at BC’s terminals and ports, funding for HR and other initiatives, and infrastructure news and restrictions, among other issues. Members can sign up company staff to the newsletter list as well. Members may purchase advertising in the Bulletin.
- Training, event and product updates: Members receive periodic e-mail reminders about upcoming courses and events and new products or sale items in our Store.
- E-mail distribution lists: Join any or all of our alert lists for time-sensitive news or the opportunity to comment on specific topics.
Member to member
The online Membership Roster gives you access to company details for all BCTA members. Members have direct access to their own company page from their dashboard and may provide contact details for key staff, a summary of company services and/or products, a website link, and your company logo.
Member Marketplace Newsletter: Your go-to destination for business-to-business advertising within our BCTA community. Members may purchase advertising here.
Public relations
We represent the industry in the media through interviews, periodic editorials and media releases, public speaking and participation in other organizations (such as the Employers' Forum and the Business Council of BC) to ensure British Columbians have the opportunity to know and understand an industry that we are proud to serve. We're active socially on Twitter and LinkedIn.
