Canada Cartage has recently acquired two Ontario companies: Ottawa carrier City Transfer and Toronto logistics provider Stalco Inc.

City Transfer provides same-day transportation, dedicated transportation, third-party logistics, warehousing, and call cartage work in Canada and the US. Canada Cartage has signed on virtually all former City Transfer employees, including most of its senior management team. Owner and General Manager Val Milio will be staying on with the business for temporarily to ensure a smooth transition. The acquisition will strengthen Canada Cartage's services to customers in the Ontario and provides additional capacity and service capabilities in truckload and less-than-truckload work.

Stalco is a Toronto-based, third-party logistics company specializing in fulfillment and distribution for high-velocity, e-commerce clients in Canada, the US and international markets. Stalco will continue to operate under the Stalco brand, and all staff and management will be staying on with the company.
