The northbound and southbound Custer Rest Area along Interstate 5 is closed to all travelers until further notice.

This temporary closure is an opportunity to reallocate current operational funding to improve safety, make necessary repairs, enhance aesthetics and focus on preventative maintenance work.

Alternative options:

There are several other rest area options along the I-5 corridor in this area including Bow Hill, Smokey Point and Silver Lake. Additional truck stop options include Slater Road, Pilot at Main Street and several area gas stations.
