Please note that 2021 International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) licence and decals will expire on December 31, 2021. To ensure you receive your 2022 IFTA licence and decals by January 1, 2022, you must renew no later than November 19, 2021.

If your renewal is received after this date, it may not be processed in time to receive your licence and decals before January.

There are two options to renew:

  1. Renew Online

Complete your renewal application and pay the $100 renewal fee online using eTaxBC

  1. Renew by Mail

Complete and sign the Application for Carrier Licence: International Fuel Tax Agreement (FIN 363) and send it with:

  • the renewal payment voucher, and
  • your $100 renewal fee by cheque or money order in Canadian funds payable to the Minister of Finance

To renew your licence, your IFTA account must be in good standing. 2022 IFTA credentials will be mailed out during the first week of December, and decals may be attached to vehicles as soon as you receive them.
