Royal Avenue on-ramp:  On May 16 and 27, the Royal Avenue on-ramp will be temporarily closed for two hours between 10 pm and 5 am for utility investigation work. When the Royal Avenue on-ramp is closed, drivers will be directed to use the Columbia Street loop-ramp via McBride Boulevard. Detour signage will be in place.

Drivers travelling southbound on the Bridge Connector will also notice construction activities where the Royal Avenue on-ramp and Bridge Connector merge. Drivers are asked to obey speed limits and instructions of traffic control personnel.

Daily Columbia Street loop-ramp closure: On select evenings between May 16 and 27, the Columbia Street loop-ramp daily 3 pm. to 6 pm closure will be extended by one hour, such that the loop-ramp will be closed to traffic until 7 pm.

During the loop-ramp closure, trucks are asked to follow detour signs and use Braid Street.
