Please be aware that the City of Vancouver will be starting an infrastructure upgrades project in the coming months which will impact traffic on routes intersecting W King Edward Ave (i.e. Arbutus, Dunbar and MacDonald).
The project is still in the planning stage and is estimated to span 2 years. Further details will be provided as they become available, however please note the following broad project scope and potential impacts to truck routes:

MacDonald – The water main is being replaced; therefore this route will be closed at King Edward. Durations will likely be limited to a few weekends, and the work is tentatively scheduled for later this year:

2023:
Arbutus – There will be a major intersection rebuild at this location, currently planned to commence in 2023. Duration will be 6 + months, and there will be reduced lane capacity likely causing some general delays.
Dunbar – While there is no official scope at this intersection, temporary lane configurations will need to be implemented and will reduce the lane capacity along Dunbar. General delays are anticipated. Work is likely to occur later in 2023 (duration TBD).
