As part of the Highway 91/17 Upgrade Project, roadway works will be required on the Nordel Way westbound movement to Highway 91C. In order to safely complete this work, a temporary nighttime full closure of this bridge structure will take place. Please see the map below for closure location and detour route. 

Traffic Impacts:

• Temporary nighttime full closure of the Nordel Way westbound movement to Highway 91C will take place from 10 pm on October 28 on November 2 to 5 am on November 3.
• A detour route will be in effect while the closure is in place:  
  • Drivers on Nordel Way westbound will use the Highway 91 northbound onramp, connect to the Alex Fraser Bridge and take exit 9 for Annacis Island. 
  • Traffic will keep left at the fork, take a right on Cliveden Ave, and use the right lane for the offramp to Nordel Way west.  
  • Please see the map below for detour location details. 
• There will be additional signs in place prior to the closure to inform drivers about this traffic pattern change.
