The Kicking Horse Canyon Constructors (KHCC) will be implementing evening intermittent lane closures, overnight full closures on Trans-Canada Highway for the Kicking Horse Canyon Phase 4 construction through January.

An alternative traffic route is via Highway 93S and Highway 95, with an additional driving

time of approximately 1.5 hours.

Roadside signs will provide advance notification of the closure and there will also be signs on the alternative routes. Drivers are advised to use caution and watch for wildlife, school children and school buses while travelling the alternative routes. Click here for the January Traffic schedule.

Drivers are reminded to obey construction zone speed limits and the directions of traffic personnel. Updates on delays will be available online at DriveBC.ca.
