Thank you to all our members who joined us for the three-day federal labour laws sessions on November 2- 4, 2021. We had strong participation and were able to provide members with updates regarding labour standards, occupational health and safety, and pay equity.

A big thank you goes to Employment and Social Development Canada—Labour Program (ESDC) and the Canadian Human Rights Commission (CHRC) for sharing their expertise and experience, and for engaging in such open exchanges over the three days.  

ESDC will also be hosting a series of webinars offered by Trucking HR Canada, that will review the new salary reporting requirements for federally regulated employers on November 17, and a pay gap reporting webinar on November 24.
