The Kicking Horse Canyon Constructors (KHCC) is transitioning into full four-lane operation on November 30. This crucial milestone denotes the substantial completion of Phase 4 construction, thereby concluding planned intermittent lane closures and overnight full closures until Spring 2024.

Upon the implementation of the expanded four-lane configuration, the highway will adhere to a posted speed limit of 80 km/h. We request drivers to observe this specified speed limit in the interest of safety.

In recognition of the successful completion of Phase 4, the Kicking Horse Canyon Constructors are preparing for a winter shutdown in early December. During this period, construction activities will be suspended, allowing unimpeded access to the highway.
