The Kicking Horse Canyon will continue to have intermittent stoppages (up to 2 minutes) and full closures (up to 2 hours) on the Trans-Canada Highway through the month of July. Highway 1 will remain reduced to 2 lanes of traffic through the Canyon for the duration of the planned work.

Drivers are also reminded that the speed limit on this section of the Trans-Canada Highway is reduced to 50 km/h until the work is completed.
