The intersection of Sprott Street and Douglas Road/Canada Way is closed until the end of July to replace the water main in the area. Sprott Street is closed between Canada Way and Norland Avenue, and Douglas Road is closed from Woodsworth Street to Canada Way. Drivers are advised to use alternate approved truck routes, such as Canada Way or Kensington Avenue.

From the end of July to late August, Canada Way will be closed from the south side of Sprott Street to the west side of Norland Avenue. The intersection of Norland Avenue and Canada Way will remain open. During this period, the Sprott Street and Douglas Road intersection will be accessible for east- and westbound traffic along Sprott Street and Canada Way. Alternate routes, such as Sprott Street or Kensington Avenue, should be used for truck traffic.

By late August, Douglas Road is expected to reopen to all traffic. Until then, please follow traffic signage and message boards for detours and use the suggested alternate routes.
