Okanagan Aggregates Ltd. (OAL) has announced that road construction will commence on Highway 3 in Cranbrook, along with various side roads in the surrounding area. The construction work is scheduled to take place between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am from Sunday through Friday on Highway 3, and between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm from Monday through Saturday on the side roads.

Importantly, there will be no construction activities on roadways during long weekends, ensuring minimal disruption for travelers during these peak periods. To manage traffic flow during the construction, OAL will implement single lane alternating traffic on two-lane roads, while maintaining continuous two-way traffic on multi-lane roads. Traffic delays are anticipated to be minimal, though drivers are advised to plan accordingly.
