As part of the ongoing Keating Cross Flyover Project, key infrastructure improvements are progressing throughout the region. Below are the latest updates for the week of September 15 – September 21.

Highway 17

Night work: Lane shifting will occur Sunday through Friday as night work progresses. Lane Closure Technicians will be onsite throughout the week to manage traffic flow.

Dayshift traffic control: Traffic control personnel will be present during the day to assist construction vehicles entering and exiting Highway 17.

Nightshift traffic control: During nighttime earthwork operations, traffic control teams will be in place to ensure safety and minimize disruptions.

Gliddon / Martindale

No significant traffic impacts are anticipated in this area for the week.

Keating Cross Road

Ongoing roadworks: Crews will continue roadway works at Keating Cross Road. Traffic control will be in place to facilitate a new traffic shift and ensure safe passage for vehicles.

Watermain installation: Copan Civil will begin mobilizing to the site to complete the watermain installation, with minimal traffic disruptions expected.

Buena Vista / Keating

Access from Buena Vista Drive to Keating Cross Road remains closed until spring 2025. However, sidewalk access for pedestrians will continue to be available throughout the closure.
