The upcoming roadwork on Highway 1, from Jumping Creek to the MacDonald Snowshed, will lead to periodic closures over the next several weeks as crews continue upgrades.

Traffic Closures and Schedule

From October 1st at 12:00 PM (noon) to October 11th at 12:00 PM (noon), Highway 1 will experience closures every Monday through Saturday:

• Full closure from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM
• Repeated 30-minute delays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with traffic fully cleared after each closure
• On October 7th, 8th, & 9th, full 30-minute closures will be substituted with single-lane alternating traffic, which may result in delays of up to 30 minutes

From October 15th at 12:00 PM (noon) to November 8th at 6:00 PM, additional closures will occur every Monday through Saturday:

• Full closure from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM
• Repeated 30-minute closures from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with traffic fully cleared after each closure
