The upcoming roadwork on Highway 1, from Jumping Creek to the MacDonald Snowshed, will lead to periodic closures over the next several weeks as crews continue essential upgrades.

Traffic Closures and Schedule

From October 15th at 12:00 PM to November 8th at 6:00 PM, Highway 1 will be closed every Monday through Saturday with closures also tentatively planned for Sunday:

• Full Closure from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
• Repeated 30-minute closures from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with traffic fully cleared after each closure.
  • October 16^th, 17^th, 18^th and 19^th Full 30-Minute closures have been substituted with Single Lane Alternating Traffic (SLAT) which may have delays up to 30 minutes.  

From November 12^th at 6:00 AM until November 15^th at 6:00 PM, Highway 1 will be closed Tuesday through Friday:

• Full Closure from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
• Repeated 30-minute closures from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with traffic fully cleared after each closure.
