Highway 1 Closures at the Kicking Horse Canyon Starting March 15, 2021 with Single Lane Closures Starting March 1, 2021
Highway 1 road closures in the Kicking Horse Canyon (between Golden and Banff) are expected with single lane closures effective March 1, short term closures starting March 15 and long-term closures starting April 12, 2021.

As of February 21st, 2021, at 11:59:59 PM, it will be required for all travellers to submit their information electronically before or when entering Canada. Commercial transporters will continue to be able to submit the mandatory information before or when entering Canada.
