For every new tire sold, the retailer remits to Tire Stewardship BC an Advance Disposal Fee (ADF), commonly referred to as an eco-fee. All fees collected go exclusively towards the operation of the scrap tire recycling program and are used primarily to pay for transporting and recycling BC's scrap tires, so that they are disposed of in environmentally responsible ways.

TSBC will be implementing a fee increase to the Medium Truck Tire[1] Category, from $9 per tire to $14 per tire, effective January 1, 2022.
