As Phase 4 construction continues for the Kicking Horse Canyon Project, evening lane closures and overnight full closures will be implemented throughout the month of June between Golden and west of the Kicking Horse rest area. 

Traffic Impacts:

Overnight Full Closures:

• Occur Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am (MDT)

• Highways 93S and 95 will be available as an alternate route, with an additional driving time of approximately 90 minutes.

Intermittent Lane Closures:

• Sunday to Thursday from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Friday evening from 8:00 pm to Saturday morning at 7:00 am (MDT)

• Expect up to 30-minute travel delays due to single-lane alternating traffic at the construction site.

There will be no closures or stoppages due to construction on the Canada Day long weekend, from Wednesday, June 30^th at 7:00 am to Sunday, July 4^th at 8:00 pm (MDT).
