Province Announces Funding to Improve Driver Medical Fitness Program & Road Safety

BC Lifts More COVID-19 Restrictions
As of Friday, March 11, 2022, BC’s indoor mask order was repealed along with eased restrictions on long-term care visitors, faith gatherings and overnight camps for children and youth. The BC Vaccine Card requirement for proof of vaccination is scheduled to be lifted on April 8.

Ontario to Begin Hard ELD Enforcement on January 1
The Ontario Ministry of Transportation’s Commercial Safety and Compliance Branch has confirmed that it will begin hard enforcement of the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) mandate on January 1, 2023, for commercial carriers operating within the province.
