We are pleased to announce that the CleanBC Heavy-duty Vehicle Efficiency (HDVE) Program now includes incentives for zero-emission (i.e., electric) refrigeration units- up to 30% of the cost of the device and its installation, up to a cap of $4,000 per device.

The HDVE Program provides carriers with fuel management strategies and rebates of up to $15,000 per vehicle and $100,000 per fleet for approved fuel-efficiency devices.  The provincial government is providing $3.5 million to Year-four of the Program, more than double the rebates offered previously.

In order to apply for rebates on the purchase and installation of qualifying fuel-saving equipment for tractors and trailers, successful completion of the HDVE Program Course is required. The free, newly formatted and condensed pre-requisite course describes the benefits from using different fuel-saving technologies and practices.

The next course is IN-PERSON and is being held at the BCTA office in Langley on February 7th. Click here to register or view additional upcoming in-person and webinar course dates.

Note: To be eligible for program rebates, BCTA membership is not required. Companies must meet the eligibility criteria that are available in the CleanBC HDVE Program Guide.
