Cargo Securement Compliance Workshop- Oct 21

BCTA’s Load Securement & Out-of-Service Compliance course provides practical guidance on safely securing cargo while meeting applicable commercial vehicle requirements. Participants will review key topics such as tie-down selection, working load limits, blocking and bracing, cargo inspections, securement equipment condition, and requirements for different types of freight.

The course will also examine cargo securement violations that may result in roadside enforcement action or an Out-of-Service declaration. Through practical examples, participants will learn how to identify serious deficiencies, reduce the risk of shifting or lost loads, and improve compliance before vehicles enter service or undergo inspection.

Participants will complete an end-of-course assessment and, upon successful completion, will receive a Certificate of Completion.
