Applications are open for fleets interested in being assessed by Trucking HR Canada’s Top Fleet Employers program, for inclusion among the 2021 list of honourees.
Fleet employers apply and participate in a rigorous three-part review of their human resources policies and programs. The review assesses the scope of an employer’s formal HR policies and programs in eight key categories:
- recruitment & retention,
- employee engagement & workplace culture,
- compensation & total rewards,
- workplace wellness & mental health,
- workplace diversity & inclusion,
- training & skills development,
- corporate citizenship & environment, and
- HR innovation.
In addition to a Certified Human Resources Professional, a panel of trucking and logistics industry experts have validated the Top Fleet Employer Program’s rating criteria. The rating criteria reflect Canadian human resources issues, trends and working environments, and Trucking HR Canada’s standards of excellence.
