The Canadian Red Cross is committed to providing emergency services to those affected by the floods and extreme weather in Southern BC as well as support and recovery needs as they arise. Trucks For Change, the Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA), and the provincial trucking associations are reaching out to the trucking industry to support the thousands of people who have been displaced, and continue to need food, supplies, and assistance.

In addition, the Government of Canada and the Government of BC have announced that they will each match every dollar donated to the Canadian Red Cross 2021 BC Foods & Extreme Weather Appeal between November 17 and December 26, 2021- which means every $1 donated will become $3.

The trucking industry always steps up to the plate when Canadians are in need.
