Federally regulated private sector employers are now obligated to prepare and file an employment equity report with the Labour Program by June 1st of each year. These reports include more detailed salary data, including aggregated wage gap information.
Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) Labour Program is hosting an Employer workshop on April 27 (English) and April 28 (French) geared towards those responsible for submitting annual reports through the Workplace Equity Information Management System (WEIMS) as well as those responsible for the employer’s employment equity policies and practices.
