On January 12, 19, & 26, Trucking HR Canada (THRC) will be offering a webinar series on pay equity. These webinars will be offered in both English and French in partnership with the Pay Equity Commissioner's team.
The three-part webinar series will guide you through meeting the pre-determined requirements of the Pay Equity Act. The following dates and details are for the English sessions.
SESSION 1 - Establishing the Foundation and Creating a Plan
Thursday, January 12 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Pacific
Speakers:

The first half of the session will establish the foundation, with a focus on establishing pay equity committees and gathering data. The second half will cover creating a pay equity plan, creating job classes and determining the value of work.
SESSION 2 – Creating a Plan
Thursday, January 19 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Pacific

This session will continue covering how to create a pay equity plan, determining the gender predominance of job classes, calculating total compensation in dollars per hour for each of these job classes and an introduction to comparing compensation.
SESSION 3 - Demonstration of the Pay Equity Toolkit
