We are pleased to announce that the 2024 BCTA Compensation Report will be released in just a few days.

Each year BCTA ensures that you are equipped with benchmarking data to assist in the process of comparing your company’s compensation and benefit offerings with that of others through the BCTA Compensation Survey. Those who complete the online survey exclusively receive aggregated industry wage and benefit data for the full range of positions in a company.

The Compensation Survey Report is a comprehensive look at the past three years of survey data, offering a deeper analysis of compensation structures, industry benchmarks, and emerging patterns in the field. Whether you’re assessing salary structures, benefits, or incentives, this report is an invaluable resource for members looking to refine and optimize their compensation strategies.

Key trends from our sixth annual survey revealed that there has been a steady increase in the wages of company drivers, while owner-operators saw a decrease in annual compensation. While other positions such as Terminal Manager and Safety Director/Manager saw salary increases, others such as Dispatchers experienced stable or slightly decreased compensation. Our data also demonstrated a growing recognition of the importance of human resources in managing workforce challenges and improving retention.
