OTTAWA, ON (November 19, 2024) — Trucking HR Canada has announced a spectacular speaker line-up for the 2025 Women with Drive Leadership Summit (March 6, 2025; Westin Toronto Airport Hotel), including a respected Canadian Olympian, an accomplished human capital expert, and a renowned public opinion analyst.

The keynote headliner at lunchtime is Canadian Olympian Marnie McBean, teamwork and leadership expert with deep roots in Canada’s sport and social justice communities.

The day kicks off with Angela Payne of LeedHR an expert in creating and maintaining thriving workplaces. Women with Drive (WWD) attendees will benefit from Payne’s insights into transforming business processes and culture.

And, back by popular demand, WWD attendees will spend time in the afternoon with David Coletto CEO of Abacus Data. Coletto will provide insights on the shifting political climate at home and abroad, impacts and considerations for our sector, and on women in the workforce.

“We’re proud to bring such diverse expertise and insights to Women with Drive this year,” says Angela Splinter, CEO of Trucking HR Canada. “We know our industry values all the learning and networking opportunities — as well the inspiration they get from our carefully curated speaker line-up.”

The full-day summit also includes breakout sessions, plenty of opportunities for networking, and some of the most profound insights into trending business issues.

Women with Drive attendees are 300 leaders and change makers who are committed to advancing the participation of women and other underrepresented groups in Canada’s trucking and logistics sector. Women with Drive is one of the best places for professional learning and networking with like-minded career-forward leaders and developing leaders.
