Experienced Transportation Dispatcher – Western Canada

The Transportation Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating drivers, equipment, customers, freight partners, pickups, and deliveries across our local and regional operations.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the Lower Mainland and Western Canadian transportation market, particularly Local LTL and freight moving between British Columbia and Alberta.

This is an important growth position within Virden Automotive. We are looking for someone who can do more than assign loads. The ideal candidate will understand how to build efficient routes, minimize empty kilometres, secure return freight, negotiate competitive rates, manage service expectations, and maximize the revenue generated by each truck.
