National Trucking Week 2022 Recap
National Trucking Week, which began on September 4th this year, was started by the Canadian Trucking Alliance in the late 1990s as a way to embrace the industry and spotlight the contributions of the hundreds of thousands of men and women of the Canadian trucking industry who keep the country’s freight moving, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Thank you to everyone who helped make the BCTA and SafetyDriven Driver Appreciation Pop-up barbecues throughout the week a success!

TransLink’s Municipal Permit Validation Study Meeting- You’re Invited!
If you are a carrier in the Lower Mainland that is required to obtains municipal term permits for oversize vehicles, please join us and TransLink online on September 28th at 10 am (PST) for an update on their municipal permit condition validation study. The purpose of this study, is if it is possible to move to auto approvable permits for a series of vehicle configurations, including cranes, concrete pump trucks, low beds, etc. across all the whole of Metro Vancouver.
CleanBC HDVE Program Incentive Applications Now Open for ALL Applicants!

CleanBC Heavy-duty Vehicle Efficiency (HDVE) Program Year-four applications are now open for all applicants. In order to apply for incentives, successful completion of the CleanBC HDVE Program Course is required. The free, newly formatted and condensed pre-requisite course describes the benefits from using different fuel-saving technologies and practices.

BCTA Daily Log Book for Tractor/Trailer contains both a detailed daily trip inspection report and daily log with the hours-of-Service graph. It’s compliant in Canada and the United States.
