Truck Licensing System Rolling Truck Age Program

New exit from Highway 17 Westbound to River Road and 96 Street
As part of the Highway 91/17 Upgrade Project, the new off-ramp from Highway 17 westbound to River Road and 96 Street is anticipated to open to traffic mid June 2021. The new exit is located approximately 500 metres in advance of the Highway 91C/Highway 17 intersection.

Closures on Highway 1 in Kicking Horse Canyon Beginning July 2021
Beginning July 4, 2021, evening intermittent single-lane closures and overnight full closures will occur on Trans-Canada Highway between Golden and west of the Kicking Horse rest area. Intermittent single-lane closures will occur weekly from Sunday night to Friday night.
