BC Trucking Association Announces Jackie Charles as New Board Chair

Langley, BC – (June 9, 2026)

The BC Trucking Association (BCTA) is pleased to announce Jackie Charles as the new Chair of its Board of Directors.

Charles is the Chief Risk & Information Officer at the Arrow Group of Companies and brings 20 years of experience in the trucking industry, along with more than 15 years of non-profit board involvement. As a fourth-generation member of her family’s wholly owned transportation and logistics business, she brings deep industry knowledge, strong governance experience, and a long-standing commitment to advancing the trucking sector across British Columbia and Canada.

“Jackie’s experience, leadership, and understanding of the industry make her exceptionally well-positioned to guide BCTA’s Board of Directors,” said Dave Earle, President and CEO of BCTA. “Her perspective as an industry leader, business executive, and dedicated board member will be invaluable as BCTA continues to advocate for a safe, sustainable, and competitive trucking industry.”

Charles holds an MBA, the ICD.D designation, and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program. Her professional expertise spans strategic development, sustainability, information technology, and enterprise risk management.

Charles is passionate about strengthening the long-term resilience, sustainability, and competitiveness of the trucking sector. She is also committed to supporting the development of future industry leaders and helping ensure the industry remains well-positioned to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead.

In addition to her role with BCTA, Charles serves as a Board Director with Trucking HR Canada, where she supports national workforce development and human resources initiatives across the transportation industry.
