Kennedy Hill: Three Overnight Closures
Drivers are advised that from Thursday, Nov. 17 until Saturday Nov. 19, the Kennedy Hill section of Highway 4 will not have the usual 2 am release of queued traffic between 11 pm and 5 am.
This will allow crews to place the final cantilever girders and deck panels for the Kennedy Hill Safety Improvements project.

One Year Anniversary of the November 2021 Floods
November 14th marks one year since the atmospheric river of 2021 that flooded homes and communities, destroyed infrastructure, and left a trail of devastation in its path. Almost all roads and highways that connect the Interior to the Coast were extremely damaged, and in some cases obliterated, severing access to the Port of Vancouver. While all major inland routes were damaged, goods kept moving.
Highway 91/17 Upgrade Project Update- Nordel Way Westbound Closures
As part of the Highway 91/17 Upgrade Project, roadway works will be required on the Nordel Way westbound movement to Highway 91C. In order to safely complete this work, a temporary nighttime full closure of this bridge structure will take place. Please see the map below for closure location and detour route.

Permanent Repairs to Highway 1 Coming Soon
Permanent repairs to flood-damaged sections of Highway 1 through the Fraser Canyon will soon be underway.
Three contracts for development and early construction work for permanent repairs on sections of Highway 1 through the Fraser Canyon have been awarded, and the projects will be completed through a collaborative construction model.
Highway 91/17 Upgrade Project Update: Highway 17 Traffic Impacts
As part of Highway 91/17 Upgrade Project construction, a new overhead guide sign is required on Highway 17 westbound, between the interchange at Highway 91C and the interchange connecting to River Road. In order to safely complete the installation, nighttime stoppages and lane closures are required.

As part of Highway 91/17 Upgrade Project construction, a number of new overhead guide signs are required on Highway 91C, between Highway 17 and Highway 91. Nighttime stoppages and lane closures on Highway 91C are required this fall and will take place over multiple nights. Please see map below for location details.

Highway 91/17 Upgrade Project Update- Nordel Way Crossing Opening over Highway 91
As part of the Highway 91/17 Upgrade Project, the new Nordel Way crossing over Highway 91 will open in early October. Key improvements include upgraded ramps to and from Delta in preparation to open additional lanes for the Nordel Way crossing over Highway 91.
