Construction on Highway 1 and 200th Street Interchange- Expect Delays
Safety improvements are being made to the 200th Street Interchange to address drainage concerns and settling of subsoils at this interchange on Highway 1.
The road base will be built up on the Highway 1 westbound off-ramp leading to 200th Street to improve drainage, as well as repaving to make a smoother transition from the roadway onto the overpass.
Kicking Horse Canyon- December Traffic Schedule
Please note the following updated December 2021 closures schedule for Phase four of the Kicking Horse Canyon project:

Highway 17 and River Road Interchange Now Open to Traffic
On December 3, 2021, the new Highway 17 and River Road interchange opened to traffic. The interchange improves the connection between the Highway 91 connector, Highway 17 and River Road.
As part of the $260 million Deltaport Way upgrade project, the first of the four interchanges are now complete, and aims to provide improved permitting and inspection service for commercial vehicle operators and better operating hours at the Nordel commercial inspection facility. Updated Highway 3 Conditions Map: Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure
The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure has provided an updated map for Highway 3 that points out large grades, curves that necessitate speed advisories that are lower than the posted limit, restroom facilities, as well as key facts and messages for the corridor.
Temporary Truck Route for Abbotsford
The City of Abbotsford is issuing a reminder that Highway 11 still remains closed to all traffic between Downes Road and McCallum Road. Given this situation, truck drivers are having difficulty connecting from the MacLure Road truck route to Highway 11, especially when exiting Abbotsford towards the City of Mission.
Oversize and Overweight Restrictions for Barriere River Bridge- Highway 5
CVSE has issued a notice to advise that construction will be occurring on the Barriere River Bridge on November 16, 17 and 18, 2021 between the hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm to repair damage caused by a previous vehicle incident. During those scheduled times vehicles will need to take a detour via Barriere Town Rd.
Pattullo Bridge Replacement Project – Bridge Foundation Construction
Please note that on-land bridge foundation construction will begin in New Westminster in the coming weeks. Work will begin with the bridge foundation located north of Columbia Street, then move to the foundation south of Columbia Street.
Highway 4- Kennedy Hill Closures Schedule Update
The daytime closure schedule will remain in place for the Highway 4- Kennedy Hill Improvement Project. Weekday closures from 5-7am and 11am-3pm will continue through winter and into spring. Outside of these times and all day on weekends, traffic queues will be released and cleared at the top of the hour one direction at a time via single lane alternating traffic. This will be followed by approximately 30-to-45-minute closures to accommodate work.
