The Kicking Horse Canyon Constructors (KHCC) will continue implementing our extended closure on the Trans- Canada Highway for the Kicking Horse Canyon Phase 4 Project through May until the May Long Weekend.
The new Steveston Interchange is an important element of the Highway 99 Tunnel Program. It will replace the existing two-lane overpass structure at Steveston Highway and Highway 99 with a new structure that accommodates two eastbound lanes and three westbound lanes, including a left-turn lane. Once the new Massey Tunnel is in place in 2030, travel time will be improved for traffic headed from Steveston Highway into the tunnel, with the goal to reduce congestion at the Steveston Interchange and on the Highway 99 corridor.
Starting April 4 and continuing for approximately two weeks, utility relocation work will be conducted at the Highway 17-Old Yale Road intersection. As much work as possible will be done during the day, but when lane closures are required, work will take place at night to minimize disruption to traffic.
This work will be completed in stages and will require the following lane closures on Highway 17 between Tannery Road and Old Yale Road, between 7:00 pm and 6:00 am:
The public is being invited to provide feedback on long term solutions for 10 road sites in the Cariboo region affected by the landslides in 2020 and 2021.
An open online engagement on the Cariboo Road Recovery Projects is being held until March 31, 2022, to seek feedback regarding considerations important to the community.

Construction for the Pattullo Bridge foundations and approach structures is underway and will continue through 2022. Intermittent pile driving for the bridge foundation adjacent to 112 Avenue will be conducted, and a northbound slow-lane closure will be required on the bridge approach while piling is underway.

Mainroad Group is requesting feedback on their road maintenance services provided to the following areas during the winter 2021-22 season. The information provided will be used to assess and improve the level of service in each area, as required.
